AMIRSOY: ACHIEVEMENTS, GROWTH, AND FUTURE OUTLOOK
(Annual Report on Activities in 2024 and Plans for 2025)
The past year has been a landmark for the Amirsoy Mountain Resort, marked by significant achievements, transformations, and strengthening our position as Uzbekistan's leading all-season mountain tourism center. We set new standards for quality, hospitality, and comfort, combining commercial success with social responsibility and environmental stewardship. This year reaffirmed our commitment to sustainable development by harmoniously integrating care for people, nature, and the socio-economic development of the region.
2024: A YEAR OF GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT, AND ACCLAIM
Widespread Recognition: Indicators of Success
- For the first time, the annual number of guests exceeded 660,000 people, a record-breaking figure. This milestone reflects the trust and high praise from our visitors.
- Amirsoy continued to capture the attention of both international and national audiences, solidifying its status as a key mountain tourism hub. Notable events include the simultaneous visit by the heads of two states, Amirsoy's selection as a filming location by international media groups from Germany, Japan, India, Indonesia, and Kyrgyzstan, and reports prepared by major national TV channels such as "MY5", "Dunyo bo'ylab", "Yoshlar" and "Sport".
- Additionally, Amirsoy proudly became a founding member of the Union of Mountain Resorts of Turkic States, representing Uzbekistan in this prestigious alliance under the aegis of the Organization of Turkic States.
Infrastructure Development: Hospitality, Comfort, and Safety
- The opening of the Amirsoy Hills Hotel complex increased the resort's capacity and offered affordable accommodation options while maintaining a high level of service.
- As part of the expansion of the gastronomic sector, restaurants were modernized and two new dining venues were opened, offering an even more diverse menu.
- New activities, such as archery, have been introduced, rental equipment has been completely replaced, and the inventory has been significantly upgraded.
- The optimization of the operation of two cable cars significantly reduced waiting times, while close collaboration with local authorities ensured the maintenance of road infrastructure by road services and the prompt resolution of any issues, providing guests with comfortable access to the resort year-round.
- With the launch of a new mountain biking trail, the total number of trails has increased to three, giving guests the opportunity to choose a route that matches their skill level.
- Adherence to a key corporate principle - safety and professionalism - was ensured through specialized training, including English language courses conducted by a British instructor for staff working with guests, as well as training exercises for the rescue team on emergency response procedures.
Social Responsibility: Focus on People
- In 2024, we maintained a flexible benefits system for pensioners, individuals with disabilities, and people with limited mobility, offering discounts of up to 100% for specific categories. Additionally, we facilitated visits to the resort for groups from two disability associations in Uzbekistan. All these efforts make our resort more accessible to a broader range of people.
- As part of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan's independence, the resort launched a month-long campaign offering a 33% discount on all activities, allowing an even greater number of people to enjoy the unique opportunities our resort has to offer.
- As a gesture of gratitude for the achievements and inspiring example set by the Uzbekistan national team at the Paralympic Games in Paris, we granted our Paralympians free access to the resort's ski slopes for training.
- We provided a platform and served as the main partner for a series of vibrant events aimed at supporting and promoting sports and an active lifestyle. These included the Uzbekistan Skiing Championship, the Sky Camp Bo'stonliq Run, the extreme obstacle course Befit Race, downhill mountain biking, and the Fifth Amateur Ski and Snowboard Competitions. These events brought together over 3,000 participants and spectators, offering them a unique atmosphere of energy, excitement, and sporting spirit.
- In Uzbekistan's designated Year of Youth and Business Support, we continued providing complimentary assistance to the younger generation. Over 120 children from low-income families in the Bo'stonliq district were honored guests at Amirsoy as part of our regular charitable initiative offering free visits to the resort. The children had the opportunity to ski on the slopes with instructors and immerse themselves in an atmosphere of joy and unforgettable experiences.
- Amirsoy has traditionally served as a venue for events under the public project "Visota" (the Altitude), aimed at creating opportunities for health-focused and educational recreation for children, including those from orphanages.
Environmental Mission: Caring for Nature and a Green Future
- As part of supporting the nationwide "Yashil Makon" project, over 3,000 trees and shrubs were planted on the grounds of Amirsoy, marking a significant step in the restoration of the region's ecosystem.
- The practice of restricting livestock grazing and migration through the resort's territory was continued, fostering the natural recovery of the environment and serving as a catalyst for ecological renewal. In 2024, we proudly observed an increase in biodiversity, including the return of bears to Amirsoy's apple orchard during the fruiting season.
- To reduce the carbon footprint at the resort, electric vehicle charging stations were installed, enhancing accessibility and convenience for eco-conscious travelers. Additionally, we continue to expand the use of solar energy, with several technical facilities now powered by electricity generated from installed solar panels.
- The modernization of wastewater treatment facilities has been completed, ensuring 100% recycling of used water, eliminating environmental pollution, and enabling more efficient reuse of reclaimed water for irrigation and artificial snowmaking systems.
- The Amirsoy team participated in a traditional cleanup campaign to collect household waste and clear the resort's territory. This khashar became a symbol of our collective commitment to preserving the cleanliness and natural beauty of this unique location.
2025: THE YEAR OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES
The upcoming year also promises to be filled with new achievements and significant events.
- The opening of the new "Apple Tree" hotel will increase the resort's accommodation capacity by more than 1.5 times, while a café from an international brand will become a new attraction for guests, offering a cozy atmosphere and top-notch service.
- We are beginning work on the creation of an indoor entertainment center featuring a children's play area, dining options, and shopping facilities, which will serve as the perfect destination for relaxation and quality family time.
- The expansion of recreational areas, including new hiking trails and entertainment options, the introduction of bike rentals, and the organization of a series of cultural and sports events in collaboration with traditional and new partners, will undoubtedly enhance the comfort and experience of Amirsoy's guests.
- We will begin preparations for the much-loved "Open Air" concert, an outdoor event featuring symphonic orchestras and choirs - a project aimed at popularizing Uzbek and global classical music while supporting and showcasing young talent. The event, which is set to become an annual tradition at Amirsoy, reflects the commitment of the resort's founder and the initiator of "Open Air" to promoting cultural and musical values. It will serve as a vivid example of harmony and synergy between human creativity and nature.
- We will continue to actively implement and support initiatives aimed at creating a comfortable and environmentally responsible leisure experience, pursuing projects that contribute to societal development and environmental preservation.
AMIRSOY: HOSPITALITY INSPIRED BY NATURE
Amirsoy is more than just a resort; it is a place where every guest becomes part of something extraordinary. Here, comfort and care for the environment blend harmoniously, creating a space that inspires and brings people together. The philosophy envisioned by the resort's founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ravshan Ubaydullaev, is simple yet profound: Amirsoy is a place where high service standards are seamlessly combined with care for people and nature. This principle motivates us daily to move forward, improve, and create unforgettable experiences. We sincerely thank everyone who was with us in 2024 - our guests, partners, and employees. Together, we are building a future filled with inspiring opportunities and remarkable achievements. May 2025 be a year of new heights and discoveries that bring benefits to all!
